Paiute ATV Trail 04

This trail connects trail 70 with trail 68 and 01.  It is the main trail to get east or west from Richfield to Monroe Mountain or Trail 01 on the west.  The intersection from trail 70 is where trail 04 goes under I-70 through a tunnel.  Trail 04 follows dirt and paved roads to Annabelle.  From Annabelle is a graded dirt road to trail 68.  I have more than once missed a road and ended up on a different road going to Richfield.  There is also some camping places between Annabelle and trail 68 if you want to be close to towns.  If you are into Geocaching there are a few of them to find on the way.  There isn't any services in Annabelle.  The only trail that takes off of 04 is trail 66.  Going west out of Richfield 04 takes off by the water tower and goes up through pinion pine and red rock canyons to Trail 01.  The trail west out of Richfield is graded roads.  There is some rocks and is rated more difficult.  My kids have been up this trail to many times to count.
