Arapeen ATV Trail System
The Arapeen ATV Trail System is located in central Utah's Manti-La Sal
National Forest. The area of the Arapeen ATV Trail System is from Mount
Pleasant to the north west all the way southeast to the town of Emery.
The southern part of the Arapeen borders the Gooesberry ATV Trail System,
which boarders the Paiute ATV Trails System, which boarders the
Freemont ATV Trail System, which boarders the
Paunsaugunt ATV Trail System. The
towns of Spring City, Ephraim, Manti, Mayfield, Emery, Moore, Ferron, Castle Dale and Orangeville all provide services.
All
of the trails basically go from the canyons on the outskirts of
one of these towns heading up to the Skyline Drive (Trail 01).
There are also many miles of other trails and forest service roads
within this area to explore on your ATV. There is also many lakes, reservoirs and streams that provide fishing.
There are many places to camp within the area of the Arapeen ATV
Trail System both public forest
service campgrounds and primitive camping spots. There is also private campgrounds with full hookups available
in the towns.
The main canyons that you could easily pull trailers up to the Skyline Drive
would be Ephraim, Mayfield, Ferron, and Orangeville. Most of
the towns canyons with the exception of Mount Pleasant have many
primitive camping spots to accommodate everything from tents to large toy
haulers and motor homes. The many trail description pages are listed
under the towns
that the trails begin at. Click on the town link to display
the trail Description pages.
