Trail 56 Arapeen ATV Trail System

Arapeen ATV Trail System Trail 56 Starts at Joes Valley Reservoir.  There is a parking area where the blacktop road ends.  The trail climbs from 7199 at the parking area to 10,187 on the Skyline Drive.  The trail is rated easiest and is a very nice graded forest road.  There are many primitive camping spots off the road and you could pull a trailer up to Skyline Drive.  There is also many side trails to ride.  There is a Forest Service campground at Joes Valley Reservoir and a marina.  The marina was closed but said under new management and would open shortly.  Don't know if it was a current sign or a few years old.  There is fishing at Joes Valley Reservoir, Grassy Lake and Petes Hole Reservoir.  The trail is mostly through pine and aspen forest.  The trail is 13 miles long.
